FITTING

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS: MOLDING THE WHITENING TRAYS

1. Wash your hands and the material with mild soap and water.

2. Immerse the trays (one at a time) in hot water (not boiling) until the material becomes soft.

3. Use a metal utensil to lift the softened tray out of the water.

4. DO NOT let the softened tray fold on itself – the material will glue together, making it difficult to reshape.

5. Holding the tray with both hands, carefully insert into your mouth. Make sure the back inner ridge does not fold in on itself. Once the tray is in the proper position, close your lips over it. Bite down gently – do not make deep teeth marks.

6. Gently create suction by swallowing until the material has hardened to a snug, perfect fit.

Did you mess up? Unhappy with your fit? Every SOVA guard is remoldable up to 20 times. Simply place your formed SOVA back in the hot water, let it soften and straighten out, and there you go!

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS: APPLYING THE WHITENING GEL

1. Brush your teeth.

2. Use the pointed applicator tip to apply a thin layer of gel to the molded trays.

3. Insert the trays into your mouth and leave them in for 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

4. Refrain from eating or drinking for 30 minutes after application.

Apply twice daily for up to five days. To maintain results, apply once or twice weekly as required.

Had no real whitening effect

Moved me one shade whiter.

The tray is easy to mold. It's pretty much like molding a mouth guard for football. It's very easy to use. I got the peroxide free version as I worried about my teeth being too sensitive for the other one. It did not irritate my teeth or gums at all. It's recommeded to use twice daily for 5 days for 10 minutes. The serum comes in 5 prefilled syringes for easy application. The serum is clear and sticky, reminded me a bit of slime. It does say after after the 5 days to apply once or twice weekly to maintain. I wouldn't say that my teeth look like Ross from that episode of friends, but I do feel like they are a whole shade whiter. And that seemed pretty impressive for a peroxide free formula. I would have posted a picture of my teeth, but I forgot to take a before photo.

Teeth Whitening Kit

Very similar to a teeth whitening device offered by my Dr. - at a fraction of the cost. A few days using the product and there is a distinct difference. I have used many different whitening strips in the past and I felt that they never seen my teeth very white - despite using all of the product as described. Here, it is strip vs. gel. My teeth have whitened and my wife has noticed. Over the years, drinking coffee & tea, have discolored my teeth. I have experienced no increased sensitivity and can't wait to see what happens over time. So happy with the purchase.

Definitely Professional Results!

After just two 10 minute applications of the Extreme white gel, I have already seen a difference. When they call this professional grade, I would absolutely agree! I’m a huge fan of the 10 minute applications that can be done in the morning on my way to work. This is the first whitening kit that I’ve used to recommend using twice a day, I like that too. It shortens the entire whitening process to just a few days. At first, I didn’t find the custom trays to be that comfortable. I realized that I wasn’t heating them up long enough to fit them properly to my teeth. Once they turn clear in the hot water, they become completely pliable and fit my teeth perfectly and keep that shape. Overall, for the price, these are a great value and one of the best whitening options I’ve used. I highly recommend this kit for a professional whitening option and I’m 100% happy with my purchase.

Pearly Whites After a Few Days!

I've used whitening products in the past which worked well, but my teeth were again showing the signs of too much coffee! I got this kit with hopes that it would reverse those years of morning espressos, and it's really done the trick! The kit comes with two plastic trays that you heat up in some hot water and then fit over your teeth. You leave the trays on your teeth for a minute until they harden and have properly molded (says you can remold them up to 20 times).
Once set up, you add a small amount of the whitening gel from a syringe and place the trays over your teeth. The gel doesn't taste bad- a bit bitter, but also a hint of sweetness. The description on Amazon says leave the trays up to 30 minutes while the instructions on the kit say to leave them for 10 minutes. I did about 15 minutes twice a day for 5 days and I can see marked improvement in the whiteness of my teeth. Also, I still have two tubes of gel left, so I'm going to finish them off for a truly flashy smile.
Once your initial whitening is done, the instructions say to use a few times a week as needed to maintain whiteness, which I assume means purchasing more gel, which I will do depending on cost.
In any case, if you want to quickly brighten your smile, this kit is a great way to go!
