Custom fit at home and refit your guard for comfort when necessary. SOVA Max is a 2.4mm night guard designed for heavier teeth grinding and clenching, with perforations for air and saliva flow and a fit that lets you talk, breathe and drink while wearing it.
Its hard thermoplastic softens in hot water for moulding and becomes firm as it cools. Remouldable up to 20 times, so you can adjust the fit without starting with a new guard.
ALWAYS READ THE LABEL AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS FOR USE.

Follow the supplied instructions.
FITTING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Wash your hands and the material with mild soap and water.
2. Heat water in a small glass bowl (hot to the touch but not boiling). Immerse the night guard in hot, but not boiling water until the material becomes soft and pliable. Then lift up the material with a fork or your fingers.
3. Hold the soft material as shown in the picture. DO NOT LET IT FOLD!
4. Bite down gently on the solid front bar then press the tongue against the material to hold it in place.
5. Use a mirror. Mold it against the front of the teeth with your fingertips and up on the sides to the gum line to create the shield. Make sure most of the material is on the outside of the teeth. The material will not extend to the gum line.
6. Close the lips over the night guard and gently create suction until the material has hardened. This will ensure a snug fit within a minute or so. If you are not satisfied with the result just slip the night guard back in the water, let it soften and straighten out and then start over.
Did you mess up? Unhappy with your fit? Every SOVA guard is remoldable up to 20 times. Simply place your formed SOVA back in the hot water, let it soften and straighten out, and there you go!
FITTING WITH CHILDREN:
If your child has braces, use an adult sized guard and have their night guard fitted by their orthodontist
Watch the fitting video with your child
Allow ample time for fitting (we recommend two days before needed if possible)
Identify the bite pad on the guard, and practice aligning it with the teeth before softening the guard for the first time
The guard is formed by using gentle vacuum pressure (suction). Re-familiarize your child with the concept of suction; grab a straw and practice
If you become frustrated. Stop and take a break!

I have been reluctant to wear a mouth guard as I was concerned it would disrupt my sleep. I barely notice this thin mouth guard, I do however notice that my jaw no longer aches in the morning.

Very Difficult to mould
Night guard was almost impossible to mould to shape.

Too difficult to fit
I can't get this to mould to my teeth. I'm so disappointed. I wanted the thicker guard because I'm a heavy grinder. I can use the thinner 1.6mm guard easily so I'll have to go back to that.
